Cuseum Takes Part in Nasdaq Opening Bell with Pledge 1%

Earlier this year, we announced that Cuseum had taken the pledge with Pledge 1%  with Pledge 1% Boston, and this week, our CEO & Founder, Brendan Ciecko, joined fellow Pledge 1% companies to ring the Nasdaq opening bell in New York City’s Times Square.

The event celebrated Pledge 1%’s third birthday and the growing impact of the movement and member companies. Companies who take the pledge commit to donating 1% of their equity, product, or profits to causes and non-profits.

“Together we’re creating a new normal, where giving back and doing the right thing is baked into the culture and values of companies from the very beginning.” - Amy Lesnick, CEO of Pledge 1%.

With perfect timing, the event took place the day after Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses social media to boost donations and charitable support for non-profits.

At Cuseum, we believe that companies have the ability to create enormous social impact, and it’s inspiring to see the power of what happens when we join cause-based organizations to promote positive change in our communities. We’re proud to be a member of this movement!
