Setting Up the Connection:
Step 1: Kick-Off Your Digital Membership Journey
After your "Digital Membership Kick-Off" meeting with our Customer Happiness and Onboarding team, the first step is simple:
Invite Cuseum to Your Altru Account: Please invite hello@cuseum.com as a "Membership Manager" user in your Blackbaud Altru account. This allows us to help you set everything up smoothly.
Step 2: Create Your Digital Membership Query
Once Cuseum has access, the next step is setting up your query:
Name Your Query: Name your query Cuseum - Digital Membership Cards - Final to keep things organized.
Include Key Fields: Make sure your query contains the following critical fields:
Member name
Member number
Membership level
Expiration date
Email address
This information will be used to create and distribute your members' digital cards.
Step 3: Customize for Your Organization
Remember, every organization has unique naming conventions and data structures. Check your setup to ensure it’s customized to fit your organization’s needs. For examples of how other organizations have set up their queries, refer to our documentation or reach out for support.
Things to Keep in Mind
You're in Control: Cuseum will map your query to our system, but we won’t audit or review your data. It’s up to you to ensure the query includes all the members you want to receive digital cards and excludes those you don’t (like deceased members or those who have opted out of digital communications).
