We’re pleased to add The Frist Center for the Visual Arts to the Cuseum family with the launch of their new, mobile app! The Frist Center has packed the new mobile guide with an exciting variety of options for visitors, including audio tours and fun activities!

Here’s the official announcement:

To enhance your experience of our exhibitions, the Frist Center has partnered with Cuseum, a software developer that specializes in building technology platforms for art museums, on a free mobile app. Visit fristcenter.org/app to add it to your iOS smartphone or Android device.

The Frist Center app offers content beyond what’s seen on our gallery walls, including Seek & Find activities, glossaries, and behind-the-scenes extras. It is also a new way to access the custom audio tours we produce for many of our exhibitions, with directional cues, seamlessly delivered sound files, and supplemental images, which make for an intuitive touring experience. On your next visit, be sure to bring your headphones (or pick some up at Visitor Services) so you can listen while you look!

Use these features—including maps, videos, an event calendar, and short exhibition overviews—to plan your visit. The Frist app can also be linked to social media accounts, so you can share your favorite tours, objects, and happenings.

We hope that you will use the app as your guide to our exhibitions and programs.

The Frist’s new app is available for free on the App Store or at fristcenter.org/app
