We are so excited to celebrate the launch of the Connecticut Audubon Society’s digital membership cards!
The Connecticut Audubon Society was founded in 1898, and is engaged in the mission “to conserve Connecticut’s environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state’s bird populations and habitats.”
Digital membership cards are a fantastic step towards making all operations at Connecticut Audubon Society environmentally-friendly. We’re so thrilled to be a part of their mission to conserve resources and go green!
With more than a century of conservation work behind them, the Connecticut Audubon Society has long been a leader in protecting the state's birds, habitats, and natural areas. Their network of sanctuaries and nature centers gives members hands-on access to some of Connecticut's most important ecosystems, and their education programs reach thousands of students and families every year.
Moving to digital membership cards aligns naturally with that mission. By replacing plastic cards with mobile passes that live in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, the Connecticut Audubon Society reduces waste, cuts down on printing and shipping costs, and gives members a more convenient way to access their benefits at every sanctuary location.
Digital cards also open the door to richer member communication. Updates about upcoming bird walks, sanctuary news, and renewal reminders can be pushed directly to a member's phone, keeping the organization top of mind throughout the year — not just when it's time to renew.
We're proud to support the Connecticut Audubon Society on this step toward a greener, more connected membership program, and we look forward to seeing how their digital cards help deepen the relationship between the organization and the community of conservationists who support it.
