The Winter Show Is Revamping the Art Fair Experience with its Mobile App

We are thrilled to welcome The Winter Show into the Cuseum family with the much-anticipated release of its mobile app.

The Winter Show, formerly known as the Winter Antiques Show, is “the leading art, antiques, and design fair in America, featuring 70 of the world’s top experts in the fine and decorative arts.” It brings together fine art and antiques culture from ancient times to the present day, attracting the best curators and collectors from near and far. This year, it is celebrating its 65th anniversary. The New York Times has evocatively described the show as “a galaxy of colliding worlds.”

Now, the Winter Show has rolled out the “ultimate of-the-moment addition”: its mobile app. The app enables anyone to tour the show virtually, and in-person visitors have the added benefit of an easy-to-use map and search function, which facilitate seamless movement around the show exhibitions. Helen Allen, the Winter Show’s executive director, recognizes the potential of the app to reinvigorate the show and captivate young audiences: “This isn’t about changing the nature of the show, but instead about reprising American history for a new generation and getting younger collectors interested in material culture at large.” We couldn’t agree more!
